Coterie announce debut self-titled album, out December 9th

November 18, 2022 (Aotearoa New Zealand) – Today Coterie announce their self-titled debut album COTERIE, to be released just in time for summer on December 9. As an added easter egg for fans, Coterie have released two new singles off the album,‘Deja Vu’ and ‘Shame’, available to stream now.

Coming together for a string of powerful, high octane shows, Coterie play Eden Park this Saturday night with kiwi legends Six60 on the nationwide Six60 Saturdays tour.

“To us, this album is summer, late night drives down the coast with the crew, that first hit of summer sun on your face,” says frontman Tyler.

Part of the album was written at Mangawhai with Six60. The remainder of the album was written at home on Perth’s sunny western coastline. In a truly trans-Tasman effort, Coterie have no doubt created the soundtrack to summer. It’s an album for the people, with songs to make you dance and supply the good vibes on long road trips.

“We went home and finished the record in our home studio [in Perth] sharing files with Robby Desa in Sydney and Marlon Gerbes (Six60) in Auckland, adding finishing touches with Raul Lopez and Hector Vega in Los Angeles.”

The album is available to pre-save and preorder now on all music streaming services and record stores.
