Out of lockdown, ready to go, Dallas James shares a propulsive follow up to his debut single ‘Stranger’.
‘Oh Wow’ is a celebration following the last two years of lockdowns from a New Zealand POV.
“[Oh Wow] was written fresh out of lockdown, about the frustration of trying to connect with people during covid and delivered with the energy of the moment you finally do. Diving into themes of being cooped up and wanting to escape while trying to keep a connection with someone alive when you can’t physically see them.”
Standing in the canyon between heart-pounding emo and melodic pop wave, Dallas James is the alias of New Zealand culinary creative, Bryan Anderson. Through waves of trial and error, Dallas James says the things that are hard to say while sticking it to the man in full glory.
Recently Dallas James teamed up with Eat Lit Food’s foodie legend Albert Cho for a highly entertaining burger session at Anderson’s Auckland burger joint Parade Burgers.
