“Dear whānau. While Christmas is a time for joy, being thankful and spending time with whānau, it can be a difficult time when we are faced with ghosts of the past. The new waiata features fellow celebrated New Zealand artist Louis Baker, and is to be included on Stan’s forthcoming new album. A very special reo Māori version of ‘Human’ titled ‘He Tangata’ features on Stan’s first-ever Reo Māori album Te Arohanui, and involves the voice of the incomparable of Vince Harder.
Tonight Stan co-hosts this year’s Aotearoa Music Awards (Ngā Tohu Puoro o Aotearoa)with Hayley Sproull in a special live television event screening at 8.30pm on TVNZ 2 and TVNZ OnDemand.
